Yes, I remember reading a Law™ by Moshe Shekelstein that all taxes inevitably end up benefiting the populace. It’s right by Shekelstein’s 3rd law which states that all government institutions are made up of benevolent angels and are run on fairy dust. So every euro of my taxes comes back to me eventually. It’s a zero sum game, obviously.
