I just realized. They insisted that the LGBTQ options in the game were optional, and in no way reflected the sexuality of your character. By Dragon Age winning this award, they are admitting that the main character (your character that you customize/play as) is LGBTQ by default.

They lied.

When I was a kid I was playing as a loli in an MMO and some guy just walked up to me and started giving me stuff. Not even soliciting anything. Felt incredibly uncomfortable.
