I play whenever has the best animations. For example, in WoW when I played ally I went with female human warrior because her combat animation was "shield up" and I liked that as a tank. When I played Horde I played as male Orc because it looked the best in heavy armor to tank, then I switched to female Belf when I started pvping seriously because the animations looked better with more flow. the raids themselves are just bad, they're mechanically really boring to the point they straight up reuse mechanics in the same raid and the bosses healths are way too big, it was bad in ShB but after the statsquish in EW they're almost worse so the raids ends up taking ages to do.
The Story is also just bad, it's apperently neat for fans of Nier but it does nothing for FFXIV and ends up being a fart in the wind, genuine waste of time, and the glams were insanely samey with only a few pieces seeing use.

Playing as a girl also taught me how to socially interact with ppl, as I was able to experiment until I got it right.
Now Im treated the same regardless of characters gender, due to how I interact with ppl.

Proper interaction gets results regardless fo gender, but being female makes it much easier to get there, and mistakes are allowed.
But being too narcissistic and not even noticing it leads to my GFs situation.

My sister relied on her looks, and developed no personality.
The girls who got ugly quick, were more likely to develop a personality.

Myths of the Realm is a fun questline, the 24 man raids themselves are insultingly easy. ending kinda sucks but the time I hung out with Halone and Menphina is among my favorite quests in the entire game

Pandaemonium is Hiroi's best writing and has some excellent music and fights, manages to write Lahabrea to be exactly on character and we even got a bonus curtain call from Elidibus

7.0's MSQ falls flat. the first half is kinda boring with a few good moments. the second half gets back on track but still suffers from Wuk Lamat fatigue and a couple questionable story decisions the second attack on Tuliyollal comes to mind. Queen Sphene's VA is fantastic

7.x appears to be fixing the issues that 7.0 had but 7.1 is a little boring, its stinger the first interesting thing that happens in a long time. 7.2 is a return to form

Arcadion's wings 1 and 2 are setting it up to be the best normal raid tier EVER in terms of fight design, character design, music, story and presentation. and yes i'm including coils

FF11's raid is heavy on memberberries that appear to be targeted at people who quit FF11 in the late 00s. the music is just rips from 11 itself, the voice acting for the bosses is great and the 4 fights are all properly chaotic and punishing as a good 24 man should be
