Bg3's player numbers are absolutely wild for a crpg, and for them to still be reaching 160,000+ two years later is amazing. Anyone who says the game doesn't have staying power, or isn't naturally popular among players, is simply delusional, lying, or ignorant.

Still Overwhelmingly Positive on steam, still won every single goty award from every major outlet, and still won awards that normally don't even go to videogames but other award ceremonies wanted to celebrate it.

Normies who don't play videogames love it, professional reviewers loved it, the nebulous and fickle steam userbase love it, and oldschool grognards who have been playing crpg and ttrpg for 20+ years like myself love it. It's one of the few universally acclaimed games from all angles.
