I think this is a misreading of
A lot of things
But most particularly Ragatha "going on the offensive" - Ragatha's a pushover who can't stand to actually say hurtful things to him. She'll tell him off, but it'll never penetate his skin. The only thing she's ever said that seemed to genuinely hurt him was the time she accidentally brought up a dead guy, which she apologized for immediately, and the time she was high at Mcdonalds and said she hated him, which she'd never usually do. Someone who DOES actively go on the offensive is Zooble; the very first thing Zooble does in the series is choke Jax the fuck out for aggrevating her.
