Imagine being in the coastal artillery and the Baltic fleet's naval infantry comes at you with it's full force, AK's and stuff, while you have old WW2 stuff from Mosins to PAK-40's your dad or grandfather used to kill Russians with. Even in the 80's you had Maxims on the coast and in the field artillery. Well, maybe you survive the baptism of fire and find a dead Russian with a AK and ammo for it. Should have gone into the jaegers...
