Zenitsu looks fine, the issue is that people's standards naturally grew high due all of his previous scenes in the series being greatly enhanced, making him look way more impressive than in the manga. It's a situation where adapting something 1:1 now betrays your expectations, especially after the very same movie goes on to glaze Giyuu like he is a demigod, seriously, they made Giyuu vs. Akaza look infinitely more impressive and almost equally matched than it ever was in the manga.
