>start season at gold V
>get 400 for climbing gold
>then 600 for climbing to plat 1
vs
>start Diamond V
>get 600 for climbing Diamond
>then 1100 for climbing to Master 1
It's actually 700 a month more compared to ending at Gold/Plat 1.
That's 8400 per year so basically 1 month's extra. It definitely adds up but to me isn't worth the grind if you aren't enjoying it. If playing the game becomes work then you should start comparing it to how much you get from your actual job vs gem prices before you start putting in "overtime" with Master Duel.
