Also not true. He started losing the moment Kimimaro actually fought seriously and activated his CM and used his Kekkei Genkai more.
A fully healthy Lee who could actually open the other Gates possibly would have had a chance, but even then it's a toss-up. Kimimaro was supposed to be another one of those bullshit once in a lifetime super prodigies like Itachi and Nagato, but he also had AIDs or whatever that weakened him.
