Khazan is more like Nioh than Souls/Sekiro, and I honestly prefer to to Nioh. Nioh feels like complex for complexity's stake. I never felt like the different stances or switching stances mid combos really added much to the game. I thought Ki pulse was good enough. I am not saying it was too hard, cause I beat Nioh 1/2, but I just felt like they were trying a bit too hard.
Lies of P was the perfect balance to me. While it did have worse levels/exploration than Souls, it's combat was on par with Sekiro and had some great weapons and bosses. The atmosphere was top notch, music was incredible, and story was easily better than anything in any of the Souls games. Its biggest issues were in terms of the level design being pretty fucking simple at some spots and while the weapons were fun, the number heavily favored strength over anything else. The DLC fixed that by having more complex levels and added a ton of dex/advance weapons while still throwing in some cool strength ones.
