I used to think it was just the opening chapters to HL2 until you ditch the airboat but I think I just don't like the game in general. Its approach to everything is so heavy handed, exploration feels unrewarding as hell because all you ever get is a crate that gives you whatever you're low on. The enemies are dirt stupid and go down like nothing. The weapons are mostly unsatisfying, the cutscenes are long and I'm tired of everyone sucking my dick.
