The difference between tzeentch or nurgle from skaven is that tzeentch would turn you into a chaos spawn while leaving 9 books in its corpse that have a chance of either turning you into a spawn yourself, or granting you knowledge that you’ll wish to pursue further. Nurgle he just likes to spread his taint around ensuring everything is a living malformation.
Skaven just want that thing that’s in view gone from reality. It’s a really self serving goal.
