I would explore how chaos societies and chaos cults don't view the chaos gods as the creator gods. Never has anywhere in any 40k fluff had the chaos gods be the creators of the universe who created the Warp and real space. So the worshippers would see the chaos gods as the latest generation of gods who usurped the older gods who did create reality, like in ancient greek polytheism.
Or that the creator god still exists and is more powerful than the dark gods but does not interaction with reality as they do because he/it is simply above the chaos gods.

When I take a picture of my model the paint looks too thick but to my eyes it looks great i can make out all the details, if I thin my paint more it acts more like a wash. I don't know if its just my shaky hands or the camera or if i am blind and can only notice it is too thick when it is blown up on my phone.

Phone camera programs have a lot of AI image enhancing software turned on by default that tries to smooth and color correct things and it doesn't work well with extreme close-ups. You might be able to disable them in your photo app optiona.

Make Chaos Daemons more visually discordant and reflective of their chaotic nature: see some FW sculpts like the OG chaos spawn or effects found on that one LoC.
Introduce Chaos more of a gradient as opposed to 4 distinct flavours and nearly abandoned undivided aspect: make token units for duo-element daemons combining the non-opposing Aetheric Dominions/God Aspects. Gods already mingle with eath other by fluff, might as well actually reflect it. Speaking of which, make token Daemon kits for the remaining lesser Dominions aspects.
Shroud Greater Daemons in more mystery: make their kits more modular akin to current Spawn kit to reflect ambiguous nature of what is basically realspace manifestation of a God. Its lame when you basically know what nurgle/tzeentch look like.
Dehumanize/de-anthropomorphize the Chaos Gods in fluff. Already kinda done with Aetheric Dominions but still.
Since nothing exists in a pure narrative vacuum, comewhat expand on other big Warp-entities, like Gork/Mork, Hivemind, etc. and for the love of god do something with the C'tan they're miserable and embarrassing as a concept that deserves its own post.
Just a personal touch, but cut it out with the time shenanigans, GW can't write that well to save their lives. Make parts of daemon fluff slightly more "mundane" because approaching them from standpoint of paradoxal/nonlinear writing has - at least IMO - failed.
That'd be a good start because we obviously can't just erase daemons altogether, even if that would've been a decent alternative.

Just read the 10th edition rule book, the first half of the book is dedicated to the lore. It's in the OP, get the Leviathan Book. It goes over each and every faction briefly, if anything catches your attention get that faction's codex and once again the first half of it is the lore of that faction.

You need a sidecutter to cut things out of a sprue
A hobby knife to clean up stuff, remove the mold lines and so on.
A plastic cement to put together stuff, Tamiya Extra Thin or Mr. Hobby's Mr. Cement S are good. This stuff melts plastic so you actually graft pieces into each other, unlike superglue where sits between parts to hold them together.
Before painting, you need to apply some primer for the paint to adhere on plastic.
Then finally, some paint. Citadel is THE brand of GW but there are plethora of options that are cheaper and simply better like Vallejo, AK, ProAcryl and so on. Decide on a color scheme and pick up your paints from there.

The issue with Drazhar being precision damage is that it doesn't really matter that much if you just wipe the whole unit instead and a 5x squad of Incubi + Archon in a venom will kill Marines and Gravis equivalents

What the group struggles against is like, Wraiths, but everything struggles to kill wraiths and if Drazhar snipes the technomancer all that'll happen is that the 5 incubi squad get killed on the clapback.

IMO Drazhar is godlike in Reaper's Wager but an Archon is just better in SSA.

Arcubi unit will wipe most infantry threats anyways so you don't really need the precision. Remember that any character can gain precision in melee with a stratagem if you really need it
Talos are pretty good but only in pairs. Scourges are better anti tank with either haywire or dark lances. Solo Cronos are useful as action monkeys and distraction carnifexes and occasionally the aura helps with pain token economy.
The Haemonculus is an awful unit but Urien Rakarth, the named one, is incredible. If you have a few extra points and you are using Proxies anyway just run him as Rakarth.

They won't be, they've already stopped labelling primaris and firstborn differently with keywords. They do it by armour mark now.
When they updated terminators and scouts to the primaris scale but kept their old names and wargear that solidified that there will be "firstborn" around forever. my dad made his own guard regiment with their own backstory and theme. none of the 3 different datasheets share this theme or even the options his soldiers carried. gw could easily make a generic infantry squad like an edition ago but they didn't. its not his fault gw removed their function and told us to conform to the "official" guardsmen. he lost interest in playing warhammer because his army doesnt have rules anymore. im not gonna tell him to lie and say theyre something else because thats just stupid

No the canon reason is that Guilliman was in stasis so Cawl just kept going not giving a shit since he was waiting for the word. And yes it is best to just ignore it since you also need to take into account Cawl independently on mars managed to design literally all of the primaris arsenal, so the armor, tanks, weapons, literally all of it, and manufacture it enough to supply the literally thousands of marines he had in statis and no one on Mars noticed this. Like while the admech were doing things like trying to fix geneflaws that had cropped up over 5k years or testing new archeotech, Cawl just had fully pure geneseed and tons of new and advanced tech lying around.

If you really look at it Cawl didn't really do much, he made three organs, one of which is literally half of an existing one Primarchs had(that's the one that makes them slightly bigger). The other one is just a metalic weave for their muscles(that was the explanation for their original stat buffs), and the last can restart their heart(which was why they had 2 wounds). That's it, that's all he added to them.

I was surprised to find out that Maulerfiend/Forgefiend was a relatively old sculpt from 6th edition.

In Dark Imperium, Gulliman declared the Unnumbered Sons outnumbered any one legion on the Great Crusade and it was a major point of contention with the High Lords that a Primarch was commanding such a large force, the very one that wrote a whole book on how that was a bad idea. Unnumbered sons are just primaris that Cawl made but weren't assigned to a chapter.
Eventually through out the Indomitus Crusade many of these primaris marines have been reunited with chapters who share their geneseed lineage and given to them as reinforcements.

Unnumbered sons are special in that before they were reunited with their parent chapters, they would have been fighting in mixed squads with marines coming from different geneseed lineages. So a blood angel primaris fighting alonside an Iron Hand one and a ultramarine a salamander and an imperial fist.
And Guilliman did this just so that the rookie marines could acrew experience of fighting alonside marines who might not be from their chapter.

You could in theory mix your own brown paint using just yellow red and blue. I saw a tutorial on that but I’m an autistic so I bought a lot of paint and especially green and brown and grey paint despite mixing being a thing in acrylic painting.
