So here's a fun little tidbit that I learned today: mirelurk hatchlings don't count as mirelurks, they count as insects.

As I didn't feel giant bugs would survive well in an endless winter I used Zombie Walkers to swap out insect spawns with ghoul spawns. So when I went to fight this bad bitch out Murkwater way she kept shitting clutches of eggs that would hatch into hordes of zombies that would then immediately attack her. Also, Zombie Walker zombies are stupid strong so they beat the shit out of her pretty easily.
