If you complete the powder gangers quest and manage to save their leader, the Vikki and Vance Quest line should play out differently. Where they have a radio and they call into the correctional facility and confirm you are friendly, then you go help them clean up the NCR over the bridge and then can just threaten the deputy into telling you about Benny, in exchange for his life (they player can shoot him consequence free after). Then the powder gangers will open up the Casino, but if you side with anybody but Yes-Man you will have to go back and clean the powder gangers out because they are a proper threat now that you organized them.... or something Fallout New Vegas puts its worst foot forward.

It doesn't. The brown face bug is a texture/mesh error and is caused by either using mismatched face textures (e.g. 8k skin/face, 2k makeup) or the game running low on VRAM. If it's the latter you can just save-quit to desktop and relaunch the game. Are you able to get rod up grades through the daily quests and I've just been unlucky? When I hook an uncommon fish they move around the reel twice as fast as my catching cone and I have zero chance to actually get them. I don't even get a chance to move them toward the center.
I'm using the stabilized gear ratio and the mark 2 reel as those are the only two upgrades ive unlocked.

It possible that someone repaired the splicer (I don't think the splicer is a good addition to the lore), and used it on the "puppies" (Fully grown dog scaled down), but whoever put the splicer together should be smart enough to know that putting metal parts on things that are still growing is a bad idea, it can't be any of the Big Mountain robots since this will play even if you slaughtered them all.

As for the rifle itself, it should have a reflex sight and aligned automatic barrel
Automatic mag size was increased from 27 to 30 (which still isn't a lot, hence rapid isn't always best)
Flamer mag size was decreased from 300 to 150
But most importantly, the +40% damage boost from flamer was removed, making it worthless

The best news out of all this is that the rifles Modus sells can be grolls now, check him ten times and you can find an automatic + reflex sight for 400 caps. Now flamer is still a bitch to find AND not worth using anymore

After spending longer than i care to admit poking about this shit, its clear this minigame is locked up tight.
The only thing you can steal back is basically the precious second it takes for your eyes to dart from the bobber to the dial, by centering it. They designed so much of this game around abusing gambling compulsions via rng and such, putting it in the bottom right is clearly a deliberate choice, the center is where the time critical shit goes.
This will grant you a vital moment to adjust your starting position otherwise spent moving your eyes, or it won't help at all.
Usage is the same as always, add it to your Fallout76Custom.ini with the rest of your mods, obviously its going to clash with anything else using FishingMenu.swf. Doesn't have to go at the end of the list thats just hudmenu shit.

Alright, who here can help me understand Mod Organizer 2? I'm using a pirated version of NV Ultimate, and seemingly had it running for a few hours. Thing just shat itself today as I tried booting it up through the Mod Org 2.

I've been using the following mods:
-YUP
-NVSE Unofficial Patch Plus
-NVSE 6.3.10b
-JIP LN NVSE Plugin
-JohnnyGuitar NVSE
-xNVSE (manually installed)

I've been running NVSE from MO2's dropdown, and had the load order correct (YUP first, then rest).

Tried booting it up today, and now a MO2 popup is saying it needs the Steam to play (this popup never showed up, and in the MO2 setup of the initialization I had selected a GOG version originally) - selected the option to go ahead without Steam. Game loads to menu, but loading a save just lags it. Booted up Steam just to see if having it open the background would do something - the same popup doesn't show, but loading a save didn't work.

What gives?

Going to wedding, hoping someone can pitch in an answer in a few. Much appreciated.

Actually, I'd argue it's a better loot goblin dungeon crawler than most. The map design, especially in the urban core, is a rat's nest of combat arenas and loot caves, there's not much its comparable to. If you're actually poking around for crafting materials and not just new guns, then there's definitely nothing like it. West Virginia has a lot of beautiful historic architecture that gives many of its cities, towns and rural suburbs a very unique aesthetic that 76 just outright fails to capture; largely because of how many of its basic assets are flipped from FO4, especially for the vanilla overworld. It's the area most targeted in a nuclear attack, so their secret bases were elsewhere. They expected the East Coast to be obliterated and uninhabitable for decades. The west coast was additionally much better suited as a staging point for the defense of Alaska, which played a part.

Some of the laser turrets are have bugged out Crranged multipliers, which makes affected turrets do up to 30x damage per shot. There isn't really a fix for it, though there is a bandaid mod that tries to minimize the issue by reducing their rate of fire.

As I didn't feel giant bugs would survive well in an endless winter I used Zombie Walkers to swap out insect spawns with ghoul spawns. Yeah, not long after Murkwater was clear I went into the Glowing Sea and found that radscorpions apparently don't count as insects when a pack of them decided to try and crawl up my ass. I've also encountered a few honeybeasts and bee swarms, but those are from the Mutant Menagerie mod so I didn't expect them to get swapped out anyway.

So it looks like bloodbugs, bloatflies, and radroaches are the only things getting swapped out (and maybe ants/crickets, but I haven't been to Nuka World yet). Which honestly is fine with me since those are the most obnoxious enemies to fight other than molerats.

The Sole Survivor is uniquely capable of raising their power level theorhetically endlessly but requires much training. Depending on when they are encountered the threat they pose could be null or incalculable. Their reality is also uniquely capable of acquiring weaponry that exist within the fabric between neighboring realities at random that can pose as multiversal threats such as the coveted Never Ending Double Barrel Shotgun.

The Chosen One draws power from their reality which laws of nature are not held to the same standard as others. However similar to the laws the vault dweller abides by, this one able to control them to much greater effect. Such as being able to optimize their firing rates of all firearms beyond the physical limits of most realities, especially Turboplas Rifles (Plasma Casters in other realities). Strengthened through ancient "Armour Class" arts thought lost to time their Advanced Power Armour is brought to a state that standardised munitions across all realities simply bounce off harmlessly.

Finally, The Resident has ascended far beyond their mortal limits securing and controlling untold powers within their own reality through mutations, ghoulifications and so on becoming nearly impossible to define as human to those unacquianted to those from their own reality. For me the Courier holds the greatest singular power among them all. He has transhuman feats via the clinic and Big MT. In a free for all he simply wouldn't die, and would clean up the rest. In matters of empire or dominion he cannot be opposed. His symbol is the most enduring, his legend the greatest, his story the most resonant.
