Fair point - I probably could play it straight as just a violent game, and not make it obvious that's it's sexual to me - if I didn't want to include genitalia as a body part.
So I'll probably go more in the *generally overwhelmingly horny in various ways* compromise. That's more fun anyway.
Maybe I can even have a setting to hide explicit gore and reflavor it as "the monster suddenly puts bondage on you" or something. Sounds dumb but workable. I've seen far stupider workarounds in h-games before (people in this thread keep talking about age in DoL)

The bonus for losing limbs is being able to replace/upgrade them later - it's a short term risk mid-combat, for a long-term upgrade later on. Maybe I can add other immediate bonuses too if it still feels crappy.
I don't plan on "losing to see content" being an issue - the game's going to be balanced around expecting players to lose, but not outright-killing them for it, so much as leading to novel situations to cope with the consequences.
A lot of these ideas are good - the posession mechanic for if your body is completely destroyed might work - but I'm not really focused on "grafted powerful monstrosity" being the focus, so much as "I'm safe until I lose an arm, at which point I need to start considering my more risky and limited options until I can get it back"

I don't think stat-based mechanics are hard to integrate here? And limbs can have various effects other than just stats - most cooldown abilities will require limbs, running from combat will be less viable with damaged legs, etc.
It might be a kinda slow project, but roguelikes can iterate fast as fuck.

Gameplay seems pretty irrelevant at first glance, but the equipment & skills might be relevant, I'll look into it thanks.

Making a porn game instead of just cumming, is pretty female brained in general really.
