And the religion? Meet Matronism—the cult of the Lion-Mommy goddess who pooped out the world and hands out warm hugs and social progress. Literacy! Orphanages! Soup kitchens! Sounds less like a religion and more like someone turned a public service announcement into a deity. The main goddess should just be called "Insert Morality Here."
But let’s talk story. Let’s talk Julia. Julia is what happens when you roll a tragic backstory, edge-lord magic, and bad fanfic into one giant corpse sandwich. She’s an orphan! A slave! A potion guinea pig! And now she’s back from the dead, super-powered, soul-hungry, and totally evil. Why? Because DARK MAGIC™.
Seriously, the plot sounds like it was written by someone who read Naruto, watched Hellsing, and thought, “Hey, what if I mashed this together with a Wikipedia article on medieval Europe and made everyone a furry?” She’s hiding behind black magic, so the protagonists can never find her? Great. So the whole story is a bunch of anthropomorphic losers playing Where in the World is Julia the Devourer? while she keeps power-posing in a cave somewhere like, “I’m still one step ahead, fools!”
Also, love how the world used to be violent, then got better, then got bad again because one undead goth girl got hangry. So we’re just recycling the entire civilization collapse cycle because the plot demands it. Top-tier originality, folks.
And this “common language” they all speak? Boudican? Sounds like something you catch from sitting on a medieval toilet. “Doctor, I think I have a case of Boudican.” “Oh yeah, that’ll rot your brain. Happens when you read too much Blades and Beasts.”
