Y'all are gonna love this.

Last Saturday I drove up to DFW area and bought that G wagon from a Ford dealership, knowing that it was still going to be a the Mercedes dealership getting serviced. Fast forward to Saturday I got a call from Ford saying it's ready to be picked up Monday morning.

>Father in law and I set off at 5am
>Arrive at 10am, an hour after they opened
>Don't see G wagon
>Go in and manager apologizes, says it's still at Mercedes 20 miles away, come back in 1.5 hours
>NBD, go grab coffee and eggs with FiL
>Come back 1.5 hours later
>Still don't see it.
>Wait 45 mins
>Go in and ask where the fuck is it?
>They haven't heard from salesmen group who went and got it
>20 more mins of waiting as they call around
>Turns out that it threw the belt
>They decided to drive it back anyways, 20 miles on the interstate... It's 95°
>Oh it's overheating
>Drive faster = air will cool it
>Suddenly engine stop while they're going 80+ on highway
>Spend the next hour trying to restart it and do not call boss
>Dealer begs me not to cancel deal and that they'll fix it free of charge
>Mfw
Cancelled deal and I'll get my check back. Totally wasted day and trip.
