I love the Prequels, but the Original Trilogy is the only one that can stand on its own. While the plot can be broken down into a simple "farmer boy discovers he's special" plot, the execution is what made Star Wars such a monumental success. This isn't even accounting for the excellent special effects that pretty much revolutionized films.
