Algerian man, Omar bin Omran, who went missing in 1998 during the Algerian Civil War, was found alive in 2024 after being held captive in his neighbor's cellar for 26 years. He was 19 years old when he disappeared and was found at the age of 45, just a couple of hundred meters from his childhood home.
