The Key is more melodically inclined than anything on Altars. Chapel of Ghouls is probably the only Morbid Angel song I would ever listen in enjoyment, although the riff at 0:50 of that MA song is really cartoony, ruins the entire song if I'm to be honest.

Also Nocturnus Demos sound better than the album because Scott Burns is the worst producer in metal history and somehow manages to make albums sound worse than the full release.
