For sure. I agree on most all points. Jill deserves to be playable. She deserved team up attacks and a Limit Break. She deserved a real quest chain with skill rewarsd that changed her gameplay. She deserved to have a playable Shiva boss fight. Joshua deserved all of the same. They actually had all the makings for an all time FF game party and they completely fumbled it by intentionally making them all useless/antagonists. It actually could have been an all time FF game period, with the setting and the Dominants and the quality visuals, but they decided against making a real RPG with mechanics and chose empty spectacle and references over any meaningful roleplay.

These are sort of funny but they don't actually work because they don't shoddily describe the intro to the game like the XVI pasta. It's funnier and more realistic to the reality of "confusing introduction". These posts instead are just reflexively mocking each FF games contents entirely, and quite poorly. It's almost as if they saw XVI being made fun of elsewhere and that made them feel insecure, so they copy pasted it here, just to make fun of the bigger more popular FF games as a defense mechanism. IE false flag
Just someone bitching about 25+ year old FF games that are more popular than what they prefer, again, which is lame. Would've been smarter to try and make fun of XV and XIII intros if you were trying to defend XVI's integrity. Not insecurely going after two of the very best FF games

Yep, someone's angry about FFVII, again. Instinctively runs to "muh FFVII house" for their argument, emotionally compromised and will reveal themselves. People have been making fun of FFVII for decades, putting it down won't make other FF games look better.
