The Creature Creator is more like XIII-2 or the Dragon Quest games that let you catch monsters. The actual catching of the monsters is largely uninvolved and you just select a part of the map and put a S/M/L orb there to catch them, but you can customize them sort of like Persona/SMT demons, though they operate on an auto-battle AI which you can control the aggressiveness of, with more aggressive doing more damage and taking more damage, and less aggressive dealing less damage and taking less damage.

They're designed to be used in the Tournament style minigame, but there's not actually a limitation. You can use YRP in the Tournament minigame thing, or you can use the Creatures in your main part in the main game. You don't even need to use YRP unless you want to. The current Any% speedrun record for the HD version uses Goon, She Goon, and Flan, and "No Creature Creator" is its own subcategory.

Tekken's health hasn't been this bad since Tag team 2 nearly killed the franchise. If it's FGC, Noctis has been nerfed before but Akuma's done much worse damage to the metagame. And Clive, while a GPU destroyer, hasn't been the same level of tier destroying, he's still disliked for being this single button masher with a stage that disconnects you for low FPS and penalizes you too.

Clive's seen by some to be the embodiment of bad choices in T8. From overly flashy and effects-ridden, culminating in Clive throwing particles everywhere and extremely over the top rage art nuke shit, to having a a safe 13 frame Heat engager, to more general gripes like other overly safe moves, and even theories Heat was somewhat influenced by Clive's inclusion. He's not the same levels of Akuma instant death combo IMO, but he's still a strange centerpiece to many major problems in T8.

Is there a resource where I can see which games take place in the same universe (or more specifically planet/timeline) to another game? I've been slowly crawling through FF12 and LOVING IT so far and my friend kept saying, "Bro I love FF12 it takes place in the same universe as the Tactics game" and I don't really see that anywhere on the wiki and I figured I'd actually try to play all the games that take place in the same timeline/world of FF12. Is there a specific thing on the wiki that'll help me finding which games are somewhat related to their own timelines/history?

Or rather, to rephrase it: it never really passes the point of story references. You won't see plots brought up in FFXII and resolved in FFT or the opposite. The only games that take places on the same worlds are the sequels, like X-2 taking place in the same world than X, but everything else is just for flavour and relatively irrelevant.
FFXII might take place in the same world than FFT or Vagrant Story, but in fact, it's still very vastly different.

Negotiations would have been around 4 characters from Square Enix's library, and other than Cloud and Sephiroth being attached at the hip as is usually the case they likely wanted the other characters to be non FF reps for diversity's sake.
2B is an icon at this point and given that it sold 9mil on an outsourced Platinum budget, it's very likely that Nier Automata is Square Enix's most successful single player console game that they've released in the last 2 or 3 generations which is a bit crazy to think about. So no harm in keeping that ball rolling I suppose.
Sora and a DQ Hero (7 for the PS1 debut, or 8 for recognizability) were probably off the table because they would need to jump through more hoops (Disney owns KH, Armor Project owns DQ)
That leaves Serge as our other non-FF Playstation-centric rep filling out the 4th slot. Would I have loved to have seen them pick Brave Fencer Musashi or Parasite Eve? Sure. But Square Enix haven't done much to keep those alive as PS1 classics- they aren't available on current platforms. Chrono Cross at least had a remaster a few years ago, so any potential surge of interest would net SE some money so that's probably why he was chosen.

Trying to play FFXV but I got a bug on Chapter 7 Party of Three. Any time I try to pick up the mythril, the animation happens but then nothing gets picked up and it stays on the ground with no option to try again. Then it won't let me leave the dungeon through any means and blocks the stairs.

She deserved to have a playable Shiva boss fight. Joshua deserved all of the same. They actually had all the makings for an all time FF game party and they completely fumbled it by intentionally making them all useless/antagonists.
