Kako is great, she just normally only has one action per turn. But the action she does take is usually a good one. Also her existing and just giving her a Desperation Potion buffs Ima.

Hellfire also comes into play from time to time given how strong it is, many units would kill to have it and you can use it from anywhere relevant thanks to Spring Traps not counting as movement.

Spring Traps are far and away the best trap in the game, you can just shit springs by the end and don't need anything else Trap wise.
