>P4 had the serial killer murder mystery with fakeouts/twists and a gradual progression into the world being swallowed by a death fog
>P5 has you being told/shown about subway accident deaths and that something spooky is going on, but instead let's focus on a pedo gym coach, a plagarist artist, and some drug dealer instead!
The plot goes from "hell yeha we're the next Lupin III" to "oh no our heckin likes quick let's change another heart!", with the entire game being about angry teens seething at adults (and their cope of rebelling as an excuse to thrash around and hope for the best as they make objectively bad decisions again and again). The phantom thieves are glazed as fuck by Atlus too.
