Well Nora actually seems pretty close to Kat. Especially in tape 2. She is even basically cradling her on floor before the girls start dancing.
It is kinda funny that Tape 1 sets Nora and Autumn up as close friends, but they never actually seem to like each other outside of their introduction. By the end of things, Nora seems closer to Kat then she does Autumn.

But I agree that Nora/Kat is an awful ship.
Snora is just such an amazing ship that I have to imagine it is the dev intended romance. Nora and Swann just compliment each other perfectly, both in '95 and '22.
