So planes can just orbit and smack them with bombs and missiles. Hell, you could probably have an attack helicopter just slap them with cannon fire (counts as battletech HMG) until they die. From 1,500 meters, an Apache should be able to make regular hits to the head.

My F-15E and his wingman declare an altitude bombing of your position with 8x mk-84 dumb bombs using CCIP. Take 40 points of damage (two bombs per hex from each plane) in 10 point clusters and make a PSR check to see if you fall over. gg no re.
