Women know the risks. Only ignorants (the same that pursue pregnancy at or don't take precautions while being teens) will be in the dark.
They know they have an "expiration date" for this. But science has increased the chances, not to get pregnant, but to get the pregnancy to a good end in later ages.
Also, marrying 15yo girls centuries ago was NOT a practise for avoiding complications during pregnancy, BUT ALSO because the idea was to have lots of children because the probabilities to make it to adulthood were low.
