i would use both the same way, for lower joule events and indoors. that said i would love use the short mp5 as a sidearm for its lower MED, because i really don't like using pistols for that. but if it turns out strapping 6 pounds of pot metal to my hip actually sucks, then i would prefer the long one for primary use i guess.
i touched it on my post but i kinda wanna try running the long one as a sidearm for dumb reasons (to mimic pic related). i have this vague idea of attaching it to my hip but also guide it to my thigh so that the weight is on my hip but it doesn't knock around when i walk
i think i just gotta order both and return whichever doesn't feel right
