Just what >>212624954 said, it's a die hard.
>Daisy Ridley is an army vet who was dishonorably discharged, now a girlfailure barely holding down a job cleaning windows on a high rise
>The only thing she's decent at is caring for her super sperged out brother, who gets dumped on her because he sperged too much at the asylum
>During her shift, Eco-Terrorists pull a Nakatomi Plaza on the tower, successfully lock down but didn't account for one chick being outside cleaning windows
>So she's got to do John McClane shit to save her brother and the day
It's refreshing to see a movie that knows what it is and just executes it well without making everything some pollyanna bullshit.

Case in point, she doesn't act unbelievably masculine. Daisy's character comes off as a girl desperately trying and failing to be 'one of the boys' which is a very real thing with chicks in the military and police. They all have chips on their shoulder.
