I remember realizing this when I used to argue with barry, he would always bring up the amount of polygons in the FFXV models but the models look like absolute fucking shit. I said they looked sims tier and that includes the animations and I wasn't really wrong.

higher resolution and more polygons =/= higher quality
on average, somehow, these things are lower quality than stuff 15+ years old
