I just can't see december as the knight, I can't. spamton's plotline and puppet scarf point to december being the string-puller, the manipulator, the one that is TELLING people what to do. this unavoidably contrasts the knight because, as we should all know, the knight is as bound to the prophecy as the heroes are.

the knight doesn't have a choice on the matter, it is following the prophecy; it is as much a victim as everybody else. I think this is important.
part of breaking the prophecy should require the KNIGHT facing their own fate and breaking from it, cutting their own strings, right?
when we beat the knight in chapter 3 it didn't act or think of a plan, it got confused. it did nothing. it didn't know what to do, it only did what it knew, which was the prophecy.
which actually makes me think of the cracked conch.
