ive been ignoring SRPGs for literally 20+ years until the end of 2023 when i finally decided to give Disgaea 1 a try...
Long story short, I HATED the first 6 hours and i even posted in a thread here on /v saying how tedious and overrated it was and it took me sooo many hours to finish the first 3-4 chapters & anons mocked me... then BAM! it just clicked after those initial 6-7 hours and i couldnt stop playing.
Then i ended up finishing D2, then 4 , D2 (which was a lot of fun), then finally D5 and even 6.
People who say the "real" game begins after you finish the stories are autistic retards tho, i just move on to the next game after doing postgame sidequests (i never try going to Baal and doing endless grinds).

With that said, i wont be sad if NIS goes down, they're being retarded on purpose and i cant believe they are shitting on their customers to this extent
