Hands are a bit hard but once you're able to "see" it's not so daunting.
I used my own hand for reference sometimes.
Doing a bunch of fast sketches for a week helped a lot because I could try different things and ways to draw very fast.
Actually drawing though, it's so hard to get the right mood and start, but then it's so hard to stop later.
