On one hand, this means that even if you begin a relationship with a rival, you won't really know who she is; and the relationship would be confined to only during "work hours", when you are both in costume, roughly once a week. You can obviously take off the helmet and reveal your face and civilian identity, so that you two can meet even when "off the clock"; but this comes with the obvious drawback of revealing your civilian identity. What if a different rival sees your face, and decides to mess with you even when you're "off the clock"? They generally won't try to use Sentai gadgets or such, but they can and will fuck up your life as much as they can using mundane means, all to weaken a potential rival such as you.
Did I mention that, as is tradition for a Super Sentai series, all the heroines basically live in the same city? So there will be plenty of occasions for you to meet - although initially you won't have any idea that those people you meet every day are actually your Sentai rivals, and likewise they won't know that you are their rival either. But if they do learn that...
