first smt V is nowhere near smt3 in terms of visual language, atmosphere and memorable locations. locations feel handcrafted albeit minimalistic akin to killer7 with strong visual identity while in V everything is washed out and cheap with bunch of copy pasted assets, most time you surf on the sand and go past trees, broken roads, cars and vending machines, not sure if laziness, budget constrains or switch having shitty hardware caused this. it really shows that smt3 was made both with hashino and meguro unlike smtV which was made by B team. second smt3 does have a story with interesting characters where you chose your own path and ending. it's very philosophical and thought provoking, I went for true demon ending for gameplay reasons but If I got to reshape the world I would choose perfect stillness.
