Having a command economy and *a little* entrepreneurial allowance in *certain* industries (such as tech and electronics) can coexist. However, If this happened 40 years ago, DJI would be refered to as "Shenzen electronic motor & aerial robotics factory #1989" or some shit like that. All Chinese companies nominally have a high share owned by the CCP, if it isn't, they still can simply shut the company down and noone in China could stop it. The whole 'private company' thing is a ploy to make Chinese business seem less alien and faceless, and it clearly worked.
