Lever guns are immensely popular in the UK. Lots of silhouette and cowboy action matches. They're the fastest-cycling center-fire rifles available. I think my old man had at least five Marlins in rotation at any given time, and a whole cabin dedicated to his reloading setup.

the only two we were able to save, just recently got done with re-import here to the US. Cost as much as buying one 1895 new but they're the only two of his I'll likely ever be able to inherit so worth it
