If that doesn't convince you Yoru is just a cheap plot device, then I don't know what will. Her role is now over. I expect her to show up a few more times at the second cour as a shadow or memory in Asa's head, and maybe she pops up at the end . But in short, she'll be thoroughly gone from this point onward, as every plot device is once it's purpose is achieved.
