Women do you just watch modern shows and accept the dumb bullshit they stuff it with?

Like I was recommended a show by a female friend and it had Alexander Skarsgård in it and I appreciated Generation Kill so I said sure why not and it had
>multiple polycule (I lost count)
>4 overt gay relationships
>graphic descriptions of artificial penises used for sexual pleasure
>babies are expensive hindrances metanarrative
>an impractically racially diverse cast except for the bad guys who are always cartoonishly angry white men
>corporations are actually sorta le good subplot

like I can't be on /v/ anymore because their obsession with culture wars is insufferable so I'm not asking for that, I'm just curious if women genuinely think this is reasonable.
