When we talk about autumn, we talk about adult, melencholic, and nostalgic things. Having the Hibis return to Mako's and Oshinko's hometown to reconnect with their childhood friends was a stroke of genuis, as expected from the people behind NNB. The atmosphere, the beautiful landscapes, the reminiscing about days past and hopeful wonder of what's to come, THIS is Komachan's dream. And the food was good, too. Having them cook above an irori and old stone oven in a traditional Japanese thousand-folded house was very fun and endearing to watch. It makes you long for the days you never lived. Coming home from the rice fields to your Hibiwives cooking hotpot with the river-caught fish from that morn. Imagine... Take me back, bros...
