I know the OP recommends against using Windows 11, but I've been considering trying it out just for fun and was wondering if it's possible to achieve an old-style taskbar in it like in picrelated. Not necessarily in the sense of making the theme look like Windows 9x, but in the sense of having small taskbar buttons with labels and the same width for each taskbar button. I don't feel like changing the workflow I've established for myself over the past 20 years, so it'd be cool if I could at least get the taskbar on the "latest and greatest" to behave the way I'm used to.
