It's just another case of looking for a magic silver bullet that will fix everything. The answer can't be that it'll take months for her to stop smelling so bad, because the reality is she's been colonized by bacteria that are going to feed off of that sweat and the only way to fix it is lose enough weight so that there's nowhere for those bacteria to live.
