They don't seem to get that this scene is suppose to illustrate how "traditional" snape is since he doesn't wear anything under his robes, unlike the other kids who grew in muggle houses and wear their regular street clothes under the uniform

Reminder, Book snape doesn't wear clothes under his robes (or most traditional wizards for that manner).
