>if you're going to die it's in poor taste to fight. It's better to simply accept it
-Shirou in FSN: If you fight to the last for what you believe in, you may be defeated, but that in itself can't be wrong.
-Archetype Earth to Dust of Osiris in MB: Robbing humanity of the chance to struggle against doom, however futile, is an insult to them and I will not permit it.
-Chaldea to the Lion King: We'd rather fight to the last moment than give up and be preserved as a snapshot forever (i.e. Dust of Osiris 2.0)
-Babylonia: Gil mounts a civilization-consuming defense he believes to be ultimately doomed because fuck just laying down and taking it. Pleasantly surprised it turns out to not be quite as doomed as he foresaw.
-Gilgamesh to Flauros: Pretty much exactly the same as Archetype Earth's point
-Chaldea, and specifically Mashu, to Goetia: Death is an acceptable outcome if we try to the last, giving up is not.
-Last Encore: Even if this world is fading, fighting to the last has worth as this can serve as a sample case to others.
-Chaldea to Zeus: Still no to getting turned into a museum piece just because you like us but think we're doomed (Lion King 2.0, so Dust of Osiris 3.0)
-LB7: A race awakens to the desire for meaning and decides to go out in a blaze of glory against a foe they have no hope of defeating instead of meekly accepting death, for the first time praying to their deity to help them fulfill a glorious purpose so they may have a legend of their own. Said deity grants their wish.
-BB Dubai in OC3: While I'd sooner let humanity die than allow something greater to be born, literally any other death is preferable to just "they just gave up and faded".
-Chaldea to Metatron: Just because you think we're flawed and doomed, that doesn't mean we're going to just lay down and die because you'd rather try again with the next batch.
I would struggle to think of any idea Nasu has repeated as consistently as this.
