Shina is fully committed. She invades southern Taiwan with 24 divisions and the Nippon Senkaku and Okinawa islands with 22 divisions. Nippon divisions located in northern Taiwan are relocating south. In Naha, a sole Nippon division defends against 7 Shina mechanized and armored divisions. In most places, Nippon is winning. But not everywhere. There are too many battles, and not enough ammunition to go around.
In the Yellow Sea, 22 convoy troop ships were intercepted and destroyed. Thousands dead. The news hits Nippon, and millions celebrate.
Naval battles here and there show that the Nippon fleet is whittling down Shina's surface fleets. Nippon will seize control of the East China Sea, but it will take time. It already has control as of today's date of the South China Sea.
