I think it's kind of Nietzschean. That doesn't imply not studying the enemy or trying to understand the enemy, but in yeah, Israelis are really not into explaining themselves to anybody, in general anyways. You didn't bring this up but it would be mistaken to see American Jews and Israeli Jews as the same. They couldn't be more different. You see a lot of moralizing in the Jewish diaspora, particularly in America (where people moralize about everything). If you want to read about the Israeli mentality, read this essay originally written in 1990 watching American Jews on a college campus trying to "explain" themselves be accepted and liked and the Israeli guy was just *disgusted* with it. Yeah but who cares. I do see this as a very modern phenomenon. The Zionists invented myths and borrowed others off the shelf to ground their state-building project. I don't want to get into the whole history of nationalism but this isn't unique to the Jews btw.

You think you're soooo clever. You think you've got this whole thing planned out, and that people are going to "see everything" and then it'll be over for the bad guys. I'll tell you why that isn't going to work by way of an example. You know all these natsocs who still deny the Holocaust? They're the only people who still try to hide what they do. Or them and internet Stalin fans I guess while they post anonymously on the internet. But the real killers of the 21st century don't hide, nor do they really conceal what they do. There are too many cameras and drones and so on nowadays. And the real killers run software companies, serve in the IDF, or strap GoPro cameras to themselves before throwing grenades into someone's house in a kibbutz and put the footage onto the internet, and the ones who run the software companies see everything you're posting as well, so you can't really hide.
