Conservatives hold values that say that pedophilia is wrong, liberals hold values that say that pedophilia is normal and natural and that people who are attracted to kids shouldn't be oppressed.

If you want to know what someone truly believes look at how they behave, if they don't honor their professed beliefs with their actions then they don't really believe what they claim to.
