like 99% of live sound, even studio recordings is done with micing a live amp. full digital setups like are kind of a novelty but you ideally still run it thru a cab and then mic it up. maybe i'm wrong but i dont see the benefit of running a cab simulator thru a PA when you can just mic the actual cab to a PA like its done normally.
