And it normally shouldn't, unless it served in a foreign military which did serialize such parts as standard practice. A M1903 might have its bolt serialized in US service if it was a match rifle but that was done as a armorer-level thing for accuracy reasons and not an official Ordnance practice. All M1903 bolts were interchangeable and thus didn't need serial numbers.
